I am thinking about Costa Rica...it is really a small country, compared to Mexico, which I think of as a much richer country culturally. Costa Rica is approximately 51,100 sq km, while Mexico is approximately 1,964,375 sq km, making Mexico 3,744% larger than Costa Rica. Meanwhile, the population of Costa Rica is ~5.2 million people (123.9 million more people live in Mexico).
