We are all germaphobes now

Do you think the current times are harder for people who are germaphobes naturally, who have always been germaphobic, those people who are used to using hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes and not touching their face? Or is it harder for people who scoffed at people using wipes like I did? I think it's hard for everyone but the big change is what's hardest--but, of course  what is the biggest change?
I hated the smell of Purell and the wipes at the library. It didn't give me a headache but it just bothered me, the alcohol smell, so I hardly ever used them and would wave at the air trying to get the smell away from me because people were completely unconscious of the smell. They would put it on and then approach you very closely. It's better than the stench of cigarette breath and body but only marginally, unless you are chemically sensitive.
Now I lather on the hand sanitizer and have bought some and carry it with me like I always meant to before but almost never did. I knew I had some when this pandemic started but looked high and low and couldn't find it. Finally I found it in my car.
I had Chlorox bleach, a huge bottle, and felt content until I found out that bleach decomposes after a year. Who knew! This stuff was so old, left by a previous tenant, and unopened, which means it must have been at least 6 years old, probably more like 10 years. So I had to buy new bleach.
