This changes everything
That's the title of a new podcast, put out by Crosscut and KCTS public television. It says a lot.
I counted 12 weeks since the Washington governor required most businesses to be closed. It seems much longer, doesn't it?
Since nothing has changed that dramatically in these weeks except for employment and the economy, I am, among many others, who can't see traveling abroad or by plane without easy testing available nor a vaccine in sight.
I just canceled my last Airbnb stay. I had reserved an apartment for October for Guanajuato (the Festival Cervantino, not yet officially canceled) but it seems impossible. It seems too soon to travel by plane. Airbnb is charging me the service fee which for a 3+ week stay is sizeable.
So when will it feel safe (or at least a lot safer) to travel? I am hoping I will be going to Ireland and the UK in March, one year later than originally planned.
