In a van with a Trump voter

 Today is the second day of my Rabbies tour. There are only three other tourists, all women; two of them are friends, going back to junior high, and about my age. One lives in Oklahoma and the other in Colorado. The younger woman is from South Africa but lives in Australia. Louise is an animal rescue person so we have a lot to talk about and a lot of photos to show each other of cute pets.

The woman from Oklahoma is a Republican and voted for Trump! But she now hates him. Her friend is liberal and worked as an occupational therapist.  I wonder how they can travel together.  But the liberal, Lynn, married a Republican so she is truly very liberal. The one from Tulsa and I have butted heads quite a lot but at least she is funny. But oh, my god, so opinionated! As am I, of course, but I think I can manage to keep quiet at times. Not her!

She pampers the male driver/guide. His name is Paul and he is from Dublin. He is nice and pretty attentive. When I complained about Melanie the Republican he said, we all have our crosses to bear. Seems to me a very Irish attitude.

P.S. What's maybe even worse than being a Republican is that she has to pee every half hour, poor thing.
