Mansion and cathedrals
Another tasty breakfast at the hotel but customer service is lacking. I think Americans expect to be served in the order they showed up. Irish are not in any hurry.
First stop is Torc Waterfall. A bit of a hike but beautiful except for the feckin' eedgit smoking at the waterfall!
The Muckross House (built 1843) in Killarney, CO. Kerry, was impressive and I had a nice conversation with one of the guides in one of the rooms. She said she "could talk to me all day" but wasn't I with the women on the tour that only had a half hour before they had to leave. Rush rush, yes, indeed. We didn't have time to see the gardens or traditional farm.
The Rock of Cashel was our next stop. The church was 13th century but originally housed the Kings of Munster. It became the seat of the Archbishop. We caught the second half of the last tour of the day (they have had to limit entry due to gradual deterioration by 3,000 people a day).

Wow! So old. That must be an amazing experience to be among such antiquities. I love the photos. And what a great breakfast!
