Shopping centre

After waiting in the morning for them to call me,   I called the "FunTech" store (not fun at all) to find out they didn't have the phone screen and wouldn't even get it until tomorrow! So I called a store around the corner (in a mall) that my cousin knew about and went there after I picked up my phone from the first store. It was done in an hour by a man from Croatia.  It cost more ($260) but I had a nice time in the huge Blanchardstown Town Centre (mall) having a latte, using the ATM to get euros and then a Dublin bus card, and then flowers for my hosts, and a "Mad Mocha" smoothie.

The walk to the store was challenging without a phone! I was careful to use the walk buttons to cross the streets or follow another person. The shopping center is huge and spread out and I didn't know a big store near the tech store. Saying a donut shop was nearby got me directions to the Krispy Kreme store which wasn't right.

People were nice and helpful when I asked for directions but in general seemed no friendlier than Americans in Seattle.  Big city, lots of traffic, lots of litter (mostly recyclables) along the four lane road.

As I posted on Facebook, I had a grand time with my cousins at the pub nearby tonight.
