Belfast

Today I went for my last walk on my grandfather's stomping grounds with Willow, a red border collie.

I watched Michael prepare an Ulster fry for his Canadian B&B guests.

Then Catherine drove Tola to get his hair cut. She hopes he won't get the popular hair style of young men here, a buzz coat with more on top.
We got to Belfast about 11:00 and parked in a big mall in the center of town. The food court was packed and had BK and KFC. Yuck. A man in frot of a Catholic church asked if he could give me a rosary.
Catherine took it off my hands to give to a friend.

I posed in front of a famous bar, Maddens. It says, "Broken Irish is better than clever English."

We went to St George's Market which was a very large indoor market with stalls and a food court with live music.
I treated Catherine to lunch at The Cloth Ear Public House (featuring interesting and old framed clothing like white gloves or a 60's psychedelic culottes), "toasties" (grilled cheese sandwich) with 3 kinds of cheese including Halloumi and then a bowl of potato leek soup. Good but way too much cheese!

Then she drove me to my Airbnb and I met Paul and Paula and unpacked, sort of.

I walked through the park across the street to get to a Caffe Nero and get tea. There must be hundreds of these, they are more ubiquitous than Starbucks!
