Almost done with dental work. For now.

However, the artist must never have visited Costa Rica because there are many inconsistencies and nonsensical aspects to this painting which is painted on the ceiling of the National Theatre (so I got to see it on the tour I took).
1. The man holds the bananas in an impossible way, upside down--they would have been much too heavy.I love that, "deja poo"!
Mr. Cool Tico with his pirate scarf, earrings, black fingernail polish and extremely white and large fake teeth (I don't want to get treatment from HIS dentist) talking about women to his male friend and talking to and touching every young woman in the area.
Our embassy has a nondescript look
So all my dental work is DONE, hooray, except picking up the night guard tomorrow! My teeth feel and look good!
This afternoon the Airbnb host told me the previous guest next door had found an opossum in their porch area. He apologized for the noise and said they took her/him to a shelter. But aren't they normal in cities? The host said they aren't.
I took a little walk to check out a restaurant and saw a car stuck in the deep water ditch ("la cuneta" or "caño" in Costa Rica). I talked to the young driver; he said he was trying to pass a man on his phone and the man was aggressive with him so to avoid hitting someone, he drove into the side. Who knows what really happened.
Across the very busy street there was a store that came out with this hot rod (?) to try and pull the car out. No way! The rope just broke. Do most cars have a big hook in front like this car did?
Then a motorcyclist decided he was in too big a hurry while the hot rodders and police stopped traffic to attempt this crazy rescue and he tried to drive through but he got pulled over, produced his documents, and seemed to get off with a warning.
I got a look from a police officer when a can I had picked up (as litter) and stuck in my waist belt dropped and made a loud sound. Just garbage, I said. Tourists, he probably thought.

Lots of slice-of-life details in your posts. It's fun to read them. :)
